Presidents Message
2025 in review: A message from the President
Dear Members of Illinois Polygraph Society,
As my second year as IPS president I'd like to thank all of the membership body for redefining IPS goals and propelling IPS forward.
2025 was filled with with many achievements: IPS was able to host 2 different trainings, obtain a sponsor, host a meet and greet, welcome newly licensed examiners, create new friendships and continue the journey to modify polygraph guidelines with the State of Illinois.
I appreciate everyone's interest and help with ideas and responses for trainings, and Illinois laws and guidelines. Just know that getting guidelines changed is not a sprint it is a marathon. It takes patience and togetherness for this to be accomplished.
My goal during 2025 as president was to focus on training and we accomplished our goal by hosting two APA approved trainings.
Our IPS website was a huge tool in keeping members up to date with events and happenings in Illinois polygraph.
We retained sponsorship with Stoelting Co. Their help has been invaluable and we look forward to working with Stoelting Co in 2026.
During 2026, IPS will keep everyone updated with the events concerning developments with the state of Illinois Polygraph laws, meetings, trainings and our meet and greet. IPS welcomes new members, new examiners and lots of energy.
My goal for 2026 is to keep the momentum that we had in 2024 and 2025. Staying focused, host trainings, continuing to create new friendships with licensed examiners, welcoming new members and celebrating newly licensed Illinois examiners is what IPS is all about.
I believe that IPS is making a huge mark on Illinois polygraph and it couldn't have been done without the support of ALL of its members.
Best Wishes,
Marshon Conrad
President of the
Illinois Polygraph Society
